2026 – Elizabeth, NJ — FreezPak Logistics, a national leader in temperature-controlled logistics solutions, proudly announces the opening of its new state-of-the-art facility inElizabeth, NJ, serving the New Jersey and New York ports. This Northeast expansion marks a pivotal milestone in FreezPak's strategic mission to build a fully connected, coast-to-coast network of world-class cold storage facilities. This is FreezPak's 7th facility in its home state of New Jersey.
The new facility was developed by Saoud Development, the real estate development arm of FreezPak Logistics.Saoud Development is responsible for developing and building FreezPak's strategic network of purpose-built facilities, allowing the company to create highly efficient, modern logistics infrastructure designed specifically to meet the evolving needs of its customers and operations. “We are extremely pleased to continue investing in and developing mission-critical infrastructure in the markets that matter most to our customers. The Elizabeth, NJ facility is one of the most ambitious cold storage developments in FreezPak's history. The facility offers up to an extraordinary 9,849,000 cubic feet of temperature-controlled capacity, designed to meet the rapidly growing demand for cold chain infrastructure in the Northeast.
The Elizabeth, NJ facility offers the full suite of services that FreezPak customers depend on, including cold storage, container plugin, cross-docking, container unloading, transportation, repacking, e-commerce fulfillment, and USDA/FSIS inspections all under one roof.
Strategically positioned within 5 miles of the Port of APM Terminals, the Elizabeth, NJ location provides outstanding access to the ports as well as major highway corridors. This prime positioning strengthens FreezPak's ability to deliver efficient import/export solutions and seamless supply chain support across industries including food distribution, pharmaceuticals, seafood and other perishable goods.
With this latest addition,FreezPak continues to expand its national footprint across key U.S. markets.The Elizabeth, NJ facility joins a growing network of strategically located facilities including Jacksonville, FL, Fall River, MA, Los Angeles, CA, Miami,FL, Chicago, IL, Houston, TX, Philadelphia, PA, Suffolk, VA and multiple New Jersey sites. More locations are expected to be announced this year in key port markets.
